Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@bridges.sprucecare.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

If you are using health insurance you will need to check your policy to find out what coverage you have. Most people will have a co-pay amount that they pay a set amount each visit. Some will need to meet an annual out of pocket limit before insurance will cover most of the visit. Some insurance will require you to pay a percentage of the agreed amount. We can provide a good faith estimate.

If you are paying "out of pocket" or not using health insurance we offer a discount.

We have a missed appointment fee of $30 unless the insurance coverage doesn't allow it. We send text or email reminders and make every effort to get you rescheduled at a convenient time. Most in-person appointments can be converted to tele-health if necessary.

Bridges Behavioral Health, LLC offers a variety of treatment methods. We will create an individualized care plan for you. Medication is used as a tool and often can make psychotherapy easier to participate in but it can be used alone.

We believe in "don't fix what isn't broken" and can continue most treatment plans. If you aren't sure if we can continue a medication please ask for a med list review by calling us. Treatment research is updated all the time and we try to stay current to provide the best care.

Emergency symptoms include: feeling suicidal and wanting to act, repeated panic attacks, feeling very ill if you stop drinking alcohol, acting aggressively, sudden changes in memory or behavior. If these are present in yourself or loved one then consider emergency room care first.

We can treat you if you are physically located in Alaska. If you forgot your medication on vacation or are having worsening symptoms while in Alaska, we can coordinate with your current provider or pharmacy for short term treatment.

If you are a resident in Alaska, we can provide tele-health while you are located in the state.
