Jennifer has been a nurse practitioner for over twenty years with five years post doctoral practice in mental and behavioral health. She has previously worked with veterans in the VA system and active duty service members. Her clinical background includes fifteen years experience in critical care with infants including mothers and babies with opioid dependence. She previously carried a lactation certification to better understand treating mother-infant dyads. She is originally from Florida but has lived in Alaska for four years and enjoys the beauty it offers on a daily basis. In her spare time she enjoys travel, cooking, fishing, and playing with her dog.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice, Charity specializes in evidence-based therapies that support individuals in creating meaningful, lasting change. Her clinical approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Whether you’re navigating trauma, managing anxiety or depression, or working through life transitions, she provides a supportive and goal-oriented space where healing can begin and growth is possible. She is committed to helping you align your life with your values and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Jennifer is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience serving both military and civilian populations across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. As a proud military spouse, she brings a unique understanding of the challenges faced by service members and their families. She is originally from upstate New York. With a diverse background spanning psychiatric care, critical care, women’s health, and primary care, Jennifer provides compassionate, evidence-based treatment tailored to each individual’s needs. She will be primarily available via telehealth with intermittent in person visits in Fairbanks, Alaska. She is currently accepting self pay patients and BCBS.

Services are available in person in Fairbanks, Alaska and to individuals located in the state of Alaska by tele-health via live video format. To access treatment over online therapy you will need a computer, tablet, or smart-phone with self-facing camera and access to an email account. Our local office is conveniently located in the North Gate Mall off of Old Steese Highway, we're in the corner! Bus service in Fairbanks is available via the blue line and we are only a few blocks from the transfer station. We offer translation services for ASL and most languages-just let us know when you book!
